The short version: this is a blog, not a business, and it collects as little as it can.

Visitors

The web server keeps ordinary logs — the address a request came from, the page, the time, the browser string. They are used to keep the site working and are rotated regularly. There is no analytics script, no advertising cookie and nothing that follows you to another site.

Messages

If you write through the contact form, the name, address and message are stored so that I can answer. They are not added to a list and not passed to anyone.

Photographs and text

Everything on this blog is written and photographed by the author. You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back; for anything longer, ask first.

Removal

If something here mentions you personally and you would like it changed or removed, write to notes@netfinland.com and it will be dealt with.
